I’ve always tinkered around, making jewelry of different kinds.  While in junior high school, I used found seashells from the Outer Banks to make dangle earrings.  Then, in high school I began using seed beads and embroidery thread to create new styles of bracelets.  Later, in college, I started incorporating hemp cords and gemstones into the choker necklaces I made.

Always incorporating new materials and giving away the finished product as gifts, I would put lots of consideration into what I made but never much thought into how I could develop this hobby into a “crafted” income… until now.
